Although Whirly Birdz are in the helicopter category they offer something completely unique and different since they do not require a remote control to operate. Unlike all other RC type helicopters Whirly Birdz operate using infrared technology and motion. This makes it a great toy for kids 12 and under who normally struggle and lack the hand-eye coordination that it takes to operate a standard RC helicopter.
